Yoga Bio

Christine is a dedicated student of all things yoga. She has been practicing for over three decades, it is in every part of how she lives her life. She teaches from the heart, using the wonderful principles of anusara, influenced by both the philosophy of tantric yoga and the ancient celtic calendar.

Christine came across Anusara in the early 2000’s and it just blew her mind, her heart exploded and she has been exploring the philosophy, asana, and theory of yoga since.
She is a currently completeing her C-IAYT as a yoga therapist, and is currently teaching in Boyle and Inishbofin in Ireland and at festivals across europe, and I am studying where and when she can.

She teaches fun, and inspiring classes, and is dedicated to helping people of all levels and abilities experience the joys of developing their yoga study and practice.

Christine has been lucky to study with some great teachers over the years, sharing this exquisite methodology with all her students gives her great joy, all her classes are woven with the fragrance of Tantra, Celtic philosophy, and cyclical events.

She runs workshops, classes, training, and retreats in Anusara Yoga, meditation, yin, restorative, prenatal yoga, hypnobirthing, and iRest Yoga Nidra delving a little deeper each time.

Teaching Anusara Yoga has been one of the most formative and inspiring joys of her life and I look forward to sharing it with yogis on and off the mat wherever and whenever we meet.

What do you love most about Anusara Yoga?

The foundation Anusara gives us as we step onto the mat is unique. That sense of connectedness that we experience as we grow out of the earth supports us as we practice, and opens us up to a sense of expansion that enables a deep communication to the universal. When as we move with this conscious connection through our practice we experience what we all share as beings, connected in this wild and wonderful world.
This is the practice that we do on the mat, by working out the challenges we face on the mat we find an uncaused sense of joy that exists even in times of the greatest challenges of life, this reminder is what I love about Anusara.

Why do you teach Anusara yoga?

I teach Anusara Yoga to share what I have found to be true and to feel that pulsation vibrate in the room as we move and breathe together. There is nothing better than the reminder of the power of life that we all get when we practice together.

Why do you license with Anusara?

The achievement of certification has been one of my greatest challenges and joys, there is such depth of learning in Anusara, and by sharing this with my community it is cemented for us all. As a licensed Anusara teacher I am aware of the standards that have to be adhered to and respected by me and my community and as I teach and practice as part of the family of Anusara I know that the support of the kula is always there to encourage and enable my development.
